JOYCE BLESSING - GOSPEL MUSICIAN 

 Joyce Akosua Twene is a multiple award-winning African gospel musician. Joyce Blessing was born to Mr. Christopher Kwabena Twene and Mrs. Gladys Yaa Kyewaa on 15th May at Accra, Ghana.

Joyce is the fourth child of her parents. She grew up with other siblings who were all raised by their mother in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region of Ghana where she had her primary school and Junior High School education, and later moved to stay with her father in Nigeria for a few years. Joyce was to her manager, Dave Joy, and they have two sons. She has 3 boys.

Joyce Blessing is part of the See Them Band group in Kumasi. She was the youngest among them playing for five years in addition to being a backing vocalist for the likes of Evangelist Diana Asamoah, Jewel Ackah, Mary Ghansah, Ernest Opoku Jnr, Aseibu Amalfi, and other musicians in Ghana.

Joyce Blessing has won six awards and five meritorious awards in the 2014 Gospel Music Awards. She has also been nominated in seven categories winning five; Artist of the year, The Best Vocalist, Album of the year, Popular video, Song of the year.

In 2014, she was nominated at the Ghana Music Awards 2014 for Best Female Vocal Performance, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Best Collaboration of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Her album Heavy Price also won the Album of the Year. She also has worship albums namely; Holy Ghost Worship Volumes 1 and 2 under the management of Media Excel and DaveJoy Productions.

She later left Media Excel Productions handed and was signed to Dave Joy Productions releasing her 5th album "Agyebum" in 2017. The album earned her the Best Praise Song of the Year Award. She also won an award for the Best Gospel Music Video of the Year for her single, Lord’s Prayer at the 2017 4syte Music Video Awards.

Unbreakable Joyce blessing was granted an interview on United Showbiz On United television.

Joyce's blessing state that she will like not to talk about her marriage in public again.

According to her,  she is tired of always asking her about her marriage.
