Renowned musician and Acting MUSIGA President, Bessa Simons has been elected the new president of the Musicians Union of Ghana after almost 5 years of election-related litigation.
The ‘Belembe’ hitmaker polled 324 votes to beat Ras Caleb Appiah Levi who garnered 66 votes.
Bessa Simons called on the rank and file of MUSIGA to unite and work together to build a vibrant union.
