Pastor Hammond Love, widely known as Pastor Love, has been sentenced to 48months in prison by an Accra Circuit Court for stealing a car.
In 2017, Pastor Love faced legal action for selling a vehicle without the owner's permission.
The prosecution stated that the complainant, Samuel Amankwah, imported a Toyota Highlander into the country in 2016 and asked Pastor Love to handle its clearance. After the car was cleared, Amankwah instructed Pastor Love to sell it for fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) and to deduct the clearance fees.
However, he later changed his mind, planning to arrive in Ghana in April 2017 to pay Pastor Love for the clearance.
Upon his arrival, Amankwah discovered that Pastor Love was unable to produce the car, despite multiple requests.
